Reviewers say:

Dawn has written an incredible book that is so practical and helpful for anyone with a recent diagnosis of Alzheimer’s and for their carer(s) too. It has also blessed me and my wife who struggle with our mental health, and has such relatable and transferable wisdom. Thank you Dawn for having the courage and determination to write this book. An ideal, supportive companion to anyone newly diagnosed. Keith Oliver (Author of ‘Dear Dementia’)

This is a great little book. Many books have been written on this subject (and each one is valuable) but this book is unique in that it is written from the perspective of a Dementia suffer herself. So, this is not a case of a medical practitioner giving advice to suffers while sitting on a lofty throne, it comes across as a warm fireside chat, from one suffer to another. Written with humour, one clearly gets to understand the day to day struggles of a person with Dementia. Yet this is not a simple case of – ‘woe is me’ -it is full of practical advice for those with Dementia from the perspective of one who employs these techniques herself on a day to day basis. I would suggest that the 27 pages of this little book are more helpful to a Dementia suffer than many weighty books written by our experts. (Though of course we appreciate and value their expertise) I actually would go further, this little book contains excellent advice, not just for those with Dementia, but also anyone who is single and or lonely! A little book that will make anyone reading it smile! Ronnie Nevell (Amazon 5* Review)
